Allerona, which dates back to pre-Roman times, is a picturesque village perched on the top of a hill some 18 Km north of Orvieto in the direction of San Casciano dei Bagni. It commands magnificent views over the park of Villalba in one direction, the Calanche towards Fabro in another and Orvieto with its magnificent cathedral to the south. The Casa delle Cinque Lune is a recently restored small farmhouse just 1/2 Km from the village of Allerona and has equally breathtaking views including one towards the village of Allerona. The large pool (6m x 12m) is situated at a slightly higher level, has a large terrace surrounding it with sun-beds and deckchairs and a large covered patio for 'al fresco' meals..
This very small flat occupies part of the ground floor of the farmhouse. The entrance is on the side of the house overlooking the most magnificent views and it has a small terrace with a table and chairs for two for outdoor meals. There is a small living room with a settee for two, a small dining table for two, TV, and a kitchen area with hob and fridge. The bedroom has a double bed, wardrobe and a chest of drawers. The bathroom has a shower and a grey marble finish. All floors have original terracotta tiles and the ceiling original wood beams.
